Exactly 10 years ago today, our namesake Atken Armenian passed away in Montreal where he had been forced to return to get treatments for the rare form of cancer that was to end his life. He is remembered in Armenia by hundreds of souls that he touched and by his enthusiastic and unwavering devotion to Armenia.
On this solemn occasion, we would like to present to you the 3rd issue of our online magazine ATKEN. Of particular interest is our summary of what the AAF has accomplished in 10 years. You will see that Atken's ''fire'' for Armenia is still burning strongly.
