Here is an example of donating wisely. The wonderful humanitarian aid (led by Montreal native, Armenian 'soldier', AAF friend, Araz Artinian) that has been done for Armenia during these trying times. The Atken Armenian Foundation has received just under 10,000 CAD in donations for Araz's projects, of which 100% have gone to purchase care packages for the injured and important medical supplies (this is apart from the over 40,000 CAD in direct aid to internally displaced women and children being taken care of by our partner the Syunik Development NGO in the Vayots Dzor region). These beautiful care packages have brought many smiles on the faces of our heroes and have been put together by volunteers in Armenia, at cost price.
