Back in 2017, the AAF received a very nice flute from Simon Channing, the head of woodwinds at the Royal College of Music, London. This year's recipient of the instrument is a young 11-year-old student at the Sayat Nova Music School in Yerevan, Armenia. Her teacher Narek Avagyan is the principal flute of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra, a strong AAF supporter and friend, and an extraordinary pedagogue. We hope to grow our music instrument bank and bring many more smiles to the faces of these talented children. Consider donating your musical instrument to our bank.
